Question configuring festival package


i tried to install festival package in my debian 2.6.18-4-686 . i started by instaling the dependencies festvox and feskalpc18. but i get an error message "festival not configured". how can this problem be corrected?

DId you run this command?
Code:
apt-get install festival
That should fulfill any dependencies for you.

Unhappy configuring festival

hi

i am not connected to the internet. so that command will not work. i downloaded the dependencies from debian.org and then tried installing it. this is when i get the error message." festival is not configured".
is there any other way to get over this.
