Question configure sendmail and squid


hello gud pple

am new to linux. i have just installed fedora 6 now i need to configure sendmail and squid. any ideas out there?

Could you give more information about what your purpose is? Just experimenting or live production environment? How is your network? And have you first googled it first? What have you tried before coming here?
Oh yeah another thing. Why not get a more recent distribution? F6 is too old and there is no support. Even F9 will loose support in coming months. If you need something that is like Fedora get CentOS, it is much stable and is based on RHEL.

Yes as said linuxlover ,better use a CentOS if you plan to have your own server, me i`m using it as server and i`m very satisfied, for the mail server please specify more details , did you already installed a mail server or not yet ?
