Thank you man, this is realy cool, i can conect to the internet now, you are really good, anyway do this thing can disturb the other conection or make my ISP charge me more...
So do you thing DHCP is the problem?Do REDHAT 9 have DHCP built in..can you tell me how to check if the DHCP active or running ?
Well fo now Looking_Lost is the BEST !!!!!!!

Nice to know this worked out in the end... Props to looking _lost to jumping in and finishing what I had started. I was away from a computer until just about an hour ago.

Looking_Lost,

Not to ME you don't. I have been surfing around for several days seeing posts on various sites about how Linux can use Windows ICS to connect to the WWW, and NO ONE else mentioned editing the nameserver information on the Linux box.

I made that simple change and was able to register my first ever Red Hat Linux install with Red Hat and begin downloading upgrades!
