configure LDAP Server in redhat 5.1
 
hi everyone
i don't know how to configure LDAP server in redhat5.1 but i want to know how to configure it so plz tell me i will be waiting.

Spell out your words...and you're going to have a very long wait.

There are MANY how-tos on Google that you could find with a search, so try to look it up. If you have specific problems, tell us what they are, and what you've tried. But we're not going to do your searching for you, and write up a custom document just for you.

And since you're using RedHat Enterprise Linux, you can call them for support, since you're paying for it. If you're not paying for RHEL, then you shouldn't be using it.

redhat5.1 ??? is there a very NEEDED reason to use this old version ????
the current is 5.5 .
one reason , might be,is it is a unsupported - not updateable "free ??? " unpaid for version .

if so then INSTALL CentOS 5.5

install openldap-servers rpm from repository. Check out /etc/openldap/slapd.conf file, may be you get some idea.
