Hello.
I'm trying to install tork from source code (downloaded as "tork-0.31.tar.bz2" file) in my newly installed Mandriva 2010.
After extracting as I run "./configure && make && make install" it gives following:-

checking for kde-config... not found
configure: error: The important program kde-config was not found!
Please check whether you installed KDE correctly.

I have newly switched from XP to Linux, not yet feeling at home...

Mandriva uses KDE 3.x, and Tork probably depends on KDE 4. Try upgrading KDE and see if that helps; if not, you may have to compile KDE 4.5 from source.

Mandriva 2010 uses KDE 4.3.x. So version should not be a problem.
Can there be any other reason?
KDE 4.5 is still not stable. (it will be by August they say).
In that case I think I'll have to wait till August!
