Configure colors in MC and Aptitude

Hi, I want to configure colors in MC and Aptitude and can't find a decent manual.

God why is linux so user unfriendly i'm trying to get used to linux and its cool while I don't have to customize things like this......

Simple things are so hard to do... that's something linux has to resolve to get more people using it... I don't have any problem on searching but I need to work and can't spend 2 hours just because aptitude colors are so bad that can't get read.

Anyone knows how to do it?

Thanks a lot.

Simple things... are done differently than you're used to. Live and learn. Linux is not Windows.

And... Google is your friend. MC colors, aptitude colors, especially 6th result...

If you have a recent version of mc, then open its manpage and look for the documentation on skins.
