Unhappy configuration file


I have just installed APT and am trying to make things easier to install and that went well but I got errors..

I think I understand this part:

To disable these warnings completely set:
RPM::Allow-Duplicated-Warning "false";

But not sure about this.. what is my Config file and where do I find it.. ??

This package won't be cleanly updated, unless you leave
only one version. To leave multiple versions installed,
you may remove that warning by setting the following
option in your configuration file:


I know this may be a dumb question to some but hey i'm a

The apt configurations files are usually found in the /etc/apt directory. In this case, though, it looks like you have more than one version of a package installed. You should figure out which package(s) this is and remove the older version (using rpm -e) unbless you somehow need to have both installed (which might be the case under rare circumstances).
