CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUG disabled. How to enable?

Hello, I am trying monitor/injection mode. I followed the instructions to install the modified driver and firmware. But dmesg tell me that when I load the module, CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUGFS is disabled. I have no idea how to enable CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUGFS. Could anyone kindly help me?

I use Intel(R) Wireless WiFi driver.

That's a kernel option - sometimes there is the possibility to changes options at boot, but it doesn't look the case with this.
Recompile the kernel or find a kernel/distro with this enabled. Fedora has this set, for example.

$ grep 'CONFIG\_IWLWIFI\_DEBUG' /boot/config-$(uname -r)

and see if it is set. If it isn't, do like syg00 says.

what may be the issue here
