ok, so you have a hardware error or something else. What did you make before? (installed/deleted something, restored a backup or replaced some part of the system or ??). What kind of hardware is it?
Distribution: Ubuntu based stuff for the most part

The kernel error says it cannot mount root fs, so something happened to your drive.
Could be the drive is about to die? Some other issue with the root partition?
Get a bootable USB and try running fschk on it for starters.
