I am considering studying for and taking the current CompTIA Linux+ exam. Is the current one of 2004 vintage? Is it possible that it will be looked upon in the Linux community as obsolete in the relative near future? Is it soon to be retired? Would the Linux+ (Powered by LPI) beta exam be a better way to go?
Any suggestions in this area would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
