I think you mentioned you have a command prompt on your server... From the server, can you telnet to port 2273? If you can, and ssh is running on that port, and the firewall is down, then I think something external must be blocking it. What you could then try doing is switching ssh back to port 22. Or, is it possible that something in between is blocking incoming access to ports which are unknown or commonly hacked? Port 2273 is traditionally the "Mysql Instance Manager" port. Can you try switching the port ssh listens on to something outside the normal range which isn't traditionally used (ex. port 22000)? And, of course, if you have anything outside of the on-machine firewall (router, external firewall, etc.), let it know you did the change also.
