Angry Compiz causes relogin


I'm running debian kde. When I try to start compiz, system hangs and the login screen appears. Please help........

Have a look at your xorg log. It might be crashing the x session.

Try "ls -altr" on the user home for the user you login with. You might find some error log files there. the command will list the latest file on the buttom of the list. Similarly have look at the system logs with the root user on /var/log

Can't see any problem there. Do you have an xsession error log file in your users home folder?
