Compile and pack Linux kernel

Hey guys, I'm using Slackware and I decided to compile a custom kernel and pack it into iso form,is it possible?

I would like to run it within VirtualBox...

You use the mkisofs command to create an ISO. See the man page for it. There are several options and boot image files you'll need to make a bootable ISO.

For a really good example, you might take a look at how Eric (Alien Bob) does it in his mirror-slackware-current script here: http://slackware.com/~alien/tools/mi...are-current.sh
