Compile and pack Linux kernel
Hey guys, I'm using Slackware and I decided to compile a custom kernel and pack it into iso form,is it possible?
I would like to run it within VirtualBox... |
You use the mkisofs command to create an ISO. See the man page for it. There are several options and boot image files you'll need to make a bootable ISO.
For a really good example, you might take a look at how Eric (Alien Bob) does it in his mirror-slackware-current script here: http://slackware.com/~alien/tools/mi...are-current.sh |
