Almost all digital cameras can produce images in .jpg format. Linux has no problem with this. Only problem is how to get the images on the system. Your camera ( from what I can determine ) does not have a USB connection. So you need an adapter that takes smart media cards, and plugs into a USB port. Most camera shops have them, and they are inexpensive. Some laptops may even have built in adapters for the cards.
Once the card is inserted, it needs to be mounted. If your system has automount enabled, then the card will show up in any file manager. You can drag and drop what ever images you want.
There are lots of programs on linux to allow you to manage your photos. I like digikam, there are many more.
