command mail
 
hi guys, on centos 7 i can't to read the mail messages with the mail command, on freebsd mail command show me the mails of crontab, system, etc...
On centos i have to go /var/mail/user to read the mails, however those are on plain text.

How can i to enable mail command to read, delete, etc.

Is the mail command installed?

If mail command is installed, what is the exact message that you get when you type "mail"?

If mail command is not installed, you need to install mailx package "sudo yum install mailx"

yes, the mail command is installed, it show me:
No mail for root
however, the mail file on /var/mail/root have a lot of mails

already can use mail command normaly, i needed to add -f to show the content of /var/mail/root file, now i just to do an alias to show me it automatically.
