Command Assistance


Is there a command to put each word in a text file on its own line?

without seeing an example its possible that tr mite work. e.g.:

cat file.txt | tr " " "\n"

Can you give some more detail as to what you are trying to do, yes this is possible but I'm not sure exactly what you want. Post some examples of what you have and what you want to happen.
