colinux with hard disk knoppix install
 

Does anyone have any experience with colinux. Specifically I'm interested in speed of X running colinux on XP. Also I'd really like to use it with a hard disk install of Knoppix and I'd like to know how easy this is.

PS Knoppix is great - I'd spent 3 days trying to get my laptop setup with the Debian installer. As a real nubi I've probably missed the point here, but why doesn't Debian use Knoppix as its installer?
