Unhappy Coldfusion 6.1 error on Fedora

hi...

Sorry i am total newbie. I am trying to get our coldfusion working on a

Fedora Core 2 linux machine. First installed coldfusion 6.1 using the proper

ways (i suppose). Got it installed.. BUT its not running. On the services

setting there is this error:

Exception in thred "main" java.lang.NoclassDefFoundEror: coldfusion/tools/cstatMain

Later i read somewhere in MM site saying there is an updater for 6.1,

which i downloaded and tried to install... while installing it shows

there /opt/coldfusionmx folder is invalid (note that i have already stoped

the htpd and the coldfusion- although it is not running in the first place).

Everything is a bit messy here.. can somebody with care try to help me.

thnks and regards, evon (e_jay56@yahoo.com)
