Cluster two RedHat machines

I have two servers running RedHat AS4, hardware is identical.

Requirement is
Cluster these two machines so the backends are available all the time, and to load balance backends (some programs runs as different linux users).

There are some programs (Backends) running as deferent linux user on one server. Can it possibly to do a cluster between two server for high availability, and redundancy.

Can some one give me a reference.

Thank you
