Cloud Computing Infrastructure & Systems

Dear Experts,

I am writing a business plan to set up a public listed company using open-source technologies to build cloud computing infrastructure and systems (load balancing). Is there any successful running design guide and implementation plan ? Any experts with hand-on experience in cloud computing ? Many thanks. I am a senior Network engineer at RBS.

I would be willing to consult you on these architectures and their implementations in enterprise level networks. Have you looked at any documentation at all, yet? Which flavors of Linux are you interested in? What hardware architectures are you interested in?

Hope you find the info you need.

Dear experts,
I have just read books on cloud computing without hand-on experience. Because there are too many tools available, I just want the best or good enough solution to build a cloud computing platform (SaaS) for medical purpose. For example, Linux and OpenSolaries are good candidates for OS. All will be based on open-source technologies with good security. I have read soem infrastructure design from Sun and Cisco. Because they may be biased, I want more comments and ideas from others. Any successful and good design guide for my reference? It is a good strat if the direction is correct. My last big project was the second largest Macau Casino, City of Dream.

Many Thanks.
