clock skew detected
install of redhat 7.3 & 8.0 both reported 'clock skew detected', and then timeout to boot default acts crazy - 10 way too short so set to 30 - timing on countdown is definitely skewed - way too fast, but randomly so (some seconds go faster than others). Anyone know why?
xp, redhat, 512 ram, 2GHz p4, intel mobo(845e), generic geforce 4 mx440
redhat didnt like the geforce card either - 7.3 was ok but 8.0 turned its nose up at it and i had to search for a file where i could set display greater than 800x600 and manually edited... dunno if i edited the right file as options for display still dont show the resolution i have set it to...(greyed out)
thx 4 this site
