Clipboard Viewer

My frame of reference is W98. In W98, there is a utility called "Clipboard Viewer", which showed the contents of what one had on his clipboard (CTRL-C). The contents could be image or text or something else.

I am using Gnome with Fedora Core 3. Is there a similar utility like Clipboard Viewer available?

No. There is for KDE. I haven't noticed one for Gnome.
Lol this is awful but... You can install KDE, and use klipper in gnome (I think).
