clipboard in linux
i need to take print screen so i gave alt+prtscr.
it goes to clipboard now i need to find clip board, so where is the clipboard in linux to view the file. thanks........ |
are you just thinking that the same processes will work in Linux as they do in Windows??
use a screen capture program like the gimp or xwd. then work from that. i don't understand why you want to "find" the clipboard? what does that mean??? if there's somethign suitable to paste, then you will be able to do so. |
but read some keyboard shortcuts at www.faqs.org that alt+prtscr
will make printscreen. also alt+ctrl+prtscr will make desktop printscreen that will go to clipboard. is that wrong or true than what meant clipboard... thanks |
that is dependent on your window manager / desktop environment. i *believe* that KDE provides a similar functionality, but i do not know for sure.
