Lightbulb clicking on my win partition does not open it, mandriva 2009 (Genome)

Hello all,
I am new to linux, I installed mandrive 2009 yesterday without any problem. I noticed that clicking on my win partition does not open it, mandriva 2009 (Genome). same happens when I try to open the drives from my computer. But I can access the drives' contents from /mnt folder. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to do something else to access my drives.

Thanks in advance

Your partitions are already mounted.
The link can be configured from kde settings
or add a widget for that

or

#konqueror /mnt/win_c

set a link for that
