Clementine and mp3 tags

I have a problem with my mp3s - even if tracks are from the same artist, they are tagged like 3 different ways (wrong spelling, or something totally different), but when I try to edit the tags through Clementine, it won't save the changes. So my library remains a jumbled mess.

Any solutions to editing mp3 tags in Linux? I'm trying to make my collection more streamlined.

Tag editing seems to be a problem for Clementine. This link gives one example that may be related to your problem. I use Amarok and have no problem with tag editing. If you're not using KDE then you'd need to add a bunch of packages if you want to try it. I'm sure there are other media players that will do tag editing for you.
