Did you get a good download? Did you try media-check or check md5sum on the download?

How did you solve this ?

I've got this problem on a box at work.

I can install Windows, BeOS and FreeBSD 4.8 on this box - but none of the linuxes I've tried can boot off the CD.

I've tried Mandrake 9.2, Morphix 0.4 and Red Hat 9.0

Any ideas ?

What was the source of your CDs?

sikosis 09-06-2003 07:38 PM

Downloaded as ISOs from FTP mirrors or Morphix was from SF

I tried Morphix's Light, KDE and Games editions ISOs too.

I think it's something to do with the mobo or BIOS maybe ?

I've successfully installed the Mandrake and RH CDs on other PCs with no problems btw as well as run Morphix on different 4 PCs and my laptop at home.
