CIM based monitoring approach over SuSE10.2

is CIM based monitoring approach possible over SuSE10.2 or not ?
I know its possible over Enterprise server 10 but not sure wether its possible over other versions of linux or nor.
The link below shows how to have CIM over SuSE Linux enterprise server 10
Is there any sismilar link for SuSE10.2
