Choose an Application?

I updated to Thunderbird 3 and Namoroka. When I receive a link in Thunderbird I click on it. It no longer takes me to Firefox. It asks me to choose an application. I did google searches but could not figure out what to do. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could walk me through the procedure for correcting this problem.

Thanks

Have you tried choosing Firefox?

I'm guessing that what the OP meant was that he did not want to have to choose Firefox every time.

@daniell: You probably overlooked it, but when the launch application dialog comes up, there is a check box at the bottom with the caption "Remember my choice for http links." At least, there is on my build (3.0.3).

Thanks,

I guess I did not make myself clear.
When I click on a hyperlink in thunderbird a box opens up. It asks me to choose an application. I want it to be like it was before. I would click on the link, and it would open up. I don't want to have to copy and paste every time.

No, you didn't show all of the Launch Application dialog. Now for the third time,

When the launch application dialog comes up, there is a check box at the bottom with the caption "Remember my choice for http links." Check it.

I just checked it. Now what do I do?

Thank you for your patience.

Check it, then choose Firefox and OK out.

Since I already checked it, nothing comes up. How do I get the box back?

I was able to figure out how to undo the box. Now how do I find firefox?
Where is it located?
Thanks to all for your patience and guidance.

Try "which firefox", and enter it (with the full path) into the chooser.

Thanks, but the problem is that I don't know the path.

*sigh*

And what does "which firefox" on the shell tell you?
