checking htl instruction (1st time usr w/boot issue)

Hi all,
can you tell i'm a newb? lol
anyways, i was hoping you guys can help me out. This is my first time installing linux in this machine which is totally empty....

and now, iv'e installed redhat9 on a pentium III.

when i was trying to install, i had to type in NO-HTL because that was the only way it would let me get thru to install it in the machine, NOW that it's completed... i'm trying to boot up and now i'm getting the same error/message:
"Checking 'HTL' Instruction..." and then... it freezes up.

well guys, since i'm teh newb to Linux, i was hoping i could get some help with this from you guys.

Thanks,
Oezo
