Check all ip's on my eth


Hi all,
Which command is to be used to check all virtual IP's of interface?

ifconfig shows only real ip's.
tx.

ifconfig -a should show you all ips and vips and their status.

BUT ifconfig -a doesnt show all ip's of eth1 as given below

Which Linux are you using, btw?

In RedHat, I've set up separate files. For example:

# cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:1
DEVICE=eth0:1
BOOTPROTO=static
IPADDR=192.168.30.127
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=192.168.30.0
BROADCAST=192.168.30.255
ONBOOT=yes

And I believe you can set them up in the same file as you were trying, but you have to have multiple "Device" entries.
