Changing TTY font size in Lenny iMac G3

First time poster, LONG time lurker.

So, I installed Lenny on this old iMac to just turn it into a web server (I'm using it as a dedicated file repository for my Xbox). For my purposes, I need the console font to be smaller. I disabled X and work in a purely bash environment.

I tried
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
as root, but it kept the same font size. I'm out of ideas.

Specs of my iMac (for those who need it):

Okay, this thread should be a textbook example of trying EVERYTHING before you post on one of these forums. lol

"What did I forget to do?" you may ask?

I didn't reboot after the dpkg-reconfigure...

So the real issue was that I'm retarded. Fair enough...
