Changing to KDE

I installed SuSe 10.1 opting for Gnome. I now find that the floppy disk mounting icon on the Gnome desktop does not work. I understand from another question on the Forum that this is an inherent fault in the Gnome desktop but not in KDE. My question is this: How can I switch to the KDE desktop? Will I have to re-install SuSe? I used the Novell five disk distro.

I think the tool you're looking for is called Yast. Then you just open it, select KDE and click install. You'll probably have to log out and then select KDE under the "Sessions" menu. Then login again.
