changing the shortcut keys
 
as there are many shortcut keys in linux,but i want to change the shortcut keys like "ctrl-l means clear" but i want that it should change to"ctrl-p",
so for this there are any command,ao suggest me the command....

Many shortcut keys (excepting things like M-Fn) are application specific. Do you mean changing the keys for the shell, window system, or another application?
