changing the property of inetd controlled service


How to change the properties of inetd controlled services in Linux ? in linux it is xinetd controlled services. any idea on this ?

What properties ? Are you asking about changing permissions, owner etc ?

in /etc/xinetd.d ditrectory there are some services for eg : cvs , rsync what I like to know is instead of manualy changing the properties of this services , is there any way we can change it with the help of a command as we do in solaris ( inetadm -M {name=value} )
