Changing the default view to tree in KDE3

How do I change the default view so everytime I open my home directory in Konqueror it shows the "tree view" instead of icon view?

First, make all the changes you want.

Second, right-click on title bar> Store Setting.

Third, go Window> Save View Profile "File Management".

Fourth, close & reopen it.
