Changing Permissions of windows drive

I have two hard drives in my box and one is just used for storing mp3īs downloads etc and I want to be able to transfer files to it that I have downloaded in linux but when I try I get an error that I donīt have permission how do I change the permissions so my user account can write to the drive(the drive is ntfs)

read that instaed of me re-explaining. in other words you don't want to enable write access
