changing gnome theme on fc2 distro

How do you change the theme (wallpaper, icons, etc) in gnome 2.6 on an FC2 distro? I've looked at every menu item that pops up in that little red hat icon at the bottom left hand corner of the screen and could not find anything that would allow me to change the Theme. I did see a menu choice that allowed me to change the background but I want to try one of the Themes in the usr/share/themes directory. I know there is a gui control panel to make the changes but I just can't find it.

Thanks for any help,
Al

it's in preferences-> theme in your menu.
If you want my advice try log-out and log-in again after you change your theme.
