ok, i'm not sure i understand your problem...

if u have grub installed (and as far as i can see, u only run redhat) then why switch? if u install another distro, let it install lilo and then make an entry for redhat

o, and i'm not sure if u can install lilo within redhat once grub is installed (well u can, but it's a pain in the behind cuz u have to trick redhat installer into thinking the kernel is changed and such....)

Thanks for speedy reply

I am running Red Hat 9 and Windows XP. The only reason I wanna change is that I like the way Grub looks.

o, u have lilo installed, my bad....

then maybe u can change.... (though i strongly recommend u don't if u ever intend to try other distros which is highly likely, lilo is much more universal and more widely used, u can also do some cool things under lilo, especially if u install slackware's lilo)

ya, lilo is kind of ugly when u see it, that's y i stood away from it a lot but i regretted that once i starting installing other distros; only redhat seems to like grub

anyway, trying going into a terminal, type "su -" then the password for root when prompted, and they type grub-install /dev/hda or /sbin/grub-install /dev/hda and see what happens
(and if you're talking about the little graphic that comes up in grub's screen, i think u can do that in lilo too, i'll see if i can did that up)
