Question Changing Evolution's default folder...

Hi,

I'm a newbie using SuSE 9.1 and Gnome 2.4. I like Ximian Evolution, but there's a little annoying detail that is slightly buggin' me. I can't manage to find a way to change the folder where Evolution stores all its data. I mean, it uses /home/user/evolution by default, and let's say I want to make Evolution use /home/user/Pim instead, just because I'm a freak...

Can it be done? Please help this freak...

Zigor.

I don't know of any other way other than creating a symlink to another location.

Thanks, I had thought about symlinks, but that's not exactly what I'm talking about. Anyway, I guess they've hardcoded the /home/user/evolution location into Evolution, so maybe future versions will allow changing that...

Have you checked the xml files in the Evolution directory? They are not too difficult to understand and adjust in an editor.
