Changing DNS servers on a CentOS server

Ok I have to do this, I am using open source software for cold calling called Vicidial.

Is there anything I should be careful/aware of before proceeding to change the DNS servers?

Thanks.

what do you mean by changing DNS servers? What does this software have to do with your query? Why are you doing cold calling? That's *ALWAYS* shitty...

Change DNS servers how?

Do you mean updating /etc/resolv.conf?

Why do you think you need to change DNS servers? What are they currently? What are you planning on changing them to?
