Changing desktop background I receive the error "gnome_backgorund_properties" has end


I have tried changing the desktop background and I receive the following error "the application gnome_background_properties has ended. Any ideas of how to fix this.

gnome-background-properties is the program used to set the background; this message indicates that it is crashing on starting.

This is a bug, and should be reported as such. Hopefully the dialog that tells you it crashed should give you a button for filing a bug report?
