Changing default Session

Can anyone tell me how to change my default login session from GNOME to KDE? I have Fedora Core 2, and as you could just guess by where this topic is, I'm a Linux n00b.

Thanks!

there is a file /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc that usually is a logical link, you can change it from linking to xinitrc.gnome to xinitrc.kde or you can type

startkde

from the terminal prompt, instead of startx

It is in Slack ... May not be in FC

Have a look at
ls -l /etc/X11/xinitrc
If it looks anything like:
Code:
$ ls -l /etc/X11/xinit
total 25
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 321 2004-06-06 09:46 README.Xmodmap
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root  11 2004-07-04 03:45 xinitrc -> xinitrc.kde
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 559 2004-04-05 13:56 xinitrc.fvwm2
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 630 2004-06-20 11:16 xinitrc.gnome
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 536 2004-06-11 07:19 xinitrc.kde
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 664 2004-06-06 09:43 xinitrc.twm
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 788 2003-02-12 13:41 xinitrc.wmaker
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root  16 2004-07-11 16:20 xinitrc.xfce -> ../xfce4/xinitrc
The "l" in
"lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 2004-07-04 03:45 xinitrc -> xinitrc.kde"
indicates a symbolic link.

Cheers,
Tink
