changing default dir of sendmail-----

hello sir,
We are a group of administrators working on a sendmail project.
As the default directory of mails is /var/spool/mail .But if we want to change this directory to some other directory ,How to do that.
We tried modifying the sendmail.cf and sendmail.mc but we could not find the solution.
Kindly help us.
