Hi,
A here

Where (which rc file) can I change the PATH env variable in SUSE 9.0?

".profile" or anyother "*profil*" as there seems to be many variations of them these days...

Yup! Got it. It's

export PATH=$PATH:/my/custom/path/here in the .bashrc file.
