changed to unsupported screen resolution!!!
 

need some help!!!

i change my screen resolution, to something that was not supported by my system. how do i get my pc to boot into console mode in order to change the screen res. back to original setting?? and once it's booted into console mode, which config file do i edit and how do i do this????

as u can c, i'm clueless when it comes to Linux, this is my 1st attempt.

pls give me a step by step answer.

If the display is not showing then you can just use ctrl-alt + or - to scroll through the display resolutions in the /etc/X11/XF86Config (or XFConfig-4) file.

Can't remember how to get into console mode from boot with RH9 though. :(
