Change time in Arch Linux + LXDE
Hey
I've got an Arch Linux + LXDE installation and the time is wrong. How can I configure the clock? Regards Casper. |
How is your system setup? Is the BIOS clock set to UTC? If so, do you have your time zone set correctly in your /etc/rc.conf?

- I'll check my BIOS in a minute. My /etc/rc.conf is set correct. LOCALE="da_DK" HARDWARECLOCK="localtime" TIMEZONE="Europe/Copenhagen" KEYMAP=dk.map.gz CONSOLEFONT=cp850-8x16 CONSOLEMAP=8859-15 USECOLOR="yes" - Sorry, det BIOS was incorrect. It's fixed now. Thanks for the hint! |
You need the date command. Use man date or date --help to see its usage. Google it if you want more detailed instructions.
