Question Change The Keymap

Hello,
I'm using a mobile version of Linux that's called JLime, but as i know, normally the keymaps are at /usr/share/kbd/keymaps, but on it this directory don't exists, then how i can include a folder to use and store this keymaps?

Thanks,
Nathan Paulino Campos

Take a look at the documentation for JLime to find out where they store the keymaps. The desktop Linux distributions usually have a GUI based way for you to change your keymaps, and that is part of the Control Panel in either Gnome or KDE.

They don't have this in the documentation and it uses IceWM, but i know that i exists a command that i can include a path for this, but i don't know the name of it.

Look up the documentation for IceWM and that is where you should be able to find it. Additionally, a WM may provide additional capability - mapping key combinations to launch arbitrary applications, or providing a task bar and menu, like IceWM, or providing a number of Virtual Desktops, and so on.

Here is some information on IceWM, with some links for the manual too:
ICE WM

If this is what you are trying to do, then here is the answer:
Quote:
Icewm allows launching of arbitrary programs with any key combination. This is configured in the libpath/keys file.

Here is the manual for IceWM:
