Change runlevel in FC3


Hi,
how can i change the runlevel in Fedora Core 3.
I've tried it with init, but it doesn't work.

Hi,

Edit the /etc/inittab .
Look for this line and change it from 5 to 3 or whatever you have in mind....
id:5:initdefault:

If you don't want to change it permanently do
Code:
$ctrl-alt-fn (n is any number beteen 1 & 6)
you will be dropped into a terminal, login as root and do "init 3". When you want to return to a graphical login just do "init 5".
