Change MTU Settings on Endian Firewall
Have just started playing with Linux. Started with an Endian firewall. Due to restrictions on my ISP I need to change the MTU to 1324 as this is the best for VPN Access into my network. Please help, I'm lost after reading greek for hours:scratch:
I have used the ifconfig ethx mtu xxxx to change the MTU and this seems to work until the server is restarted |

How about adding the command to your startup scripts, device configuration or rc.local? |
How would I do this? Yes, I am that new to Linux, fortunately the endian firewall has a web interface so I can configure the firewall, cashe etc from my XP box - Sorry

Looked at the screenshots in the online doc: http://www.endian.it/fileadmin/docum...guration.html? |
Unfortunately this does not cover MTU settings. It seems this needs to be done in the root and that is where I am completely lost.

Well, I at least *saw* in one of the shots there was a possibility of *entering* MTU info, so it can be done, maybe ask the vendor. |
