change ipv4 or what os linux have already installed php


ok guys.. i have some problem im new im noob.
please help me.
i have a vip with ubuntu 14 i lke ubuntu 14...
my ip on vps is 1.1.1.1.1 for exmaple but this ip is down because some prolbem.. but i have a secondary ip example 2.2.2.2.2 and when i try any comand to download or to update my ubuntu dont work because they take ip 1.1.1.1.1 ..
my quesiton is: how can i change to download or update with my secondary ip.. because the main ip dont work.. but i can conect on putty and on winscp with my secondary ip.. and with main ip dont work.. is close idk

Sorry for bad english.

Or if you want to help me on easy way.. tell me a os linux like ubuntu centos debian etc.. with already installed apache and php or may have already,.

Hi fanelise,

Welcome to LQ!

It depends on how the server is configured as to how to do admin with the other IP. Why is the IP down is the question? I don't know of any distro that installs apache and PHP by default. You just have to install them.

maybe is some problem about first. i use ubuntu 14 0 64 bit.. some info?

You should find out the problem with the admin IP. Why is it down? It's not supposed to be down.
